Wiegman took a calculated risk by including Lauren James in the squad after the Chelsea forward missed three months with a hamstring injury, and it is already paying off.

Her first was a stunning strike from the edge of the box, while her second showcased her instinct in the area. After a quiet display against France in the No.10 role, the positional tweak clearly worked. Against a struggling Wales side, James looks set to shine once again.
