Kacey Musgraves returned to The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Monday night (November 18), performing her Deeper Well song “Arm’s Length.” On the episode aired the following night, she sat down with Colbert to discuss her friendship with John Prine, as well as her album’s aesthetic, which she has described as “soft nature cottage witch.” Watch it all go down below.

Musgraves is currently on tour in support of Deeper Well. There are a dozen dates left at this point, all of which take place in the U.S. and feature Lord Huron and Nickel Creek as openers.

Back at the start of the year, Musgraves won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the Zach Bryan collaboration “I Remember Everything.” That evening, she teased new music during a commercial, foreshadowing Deeper Well’s release. She has since put out the singles “Cardinal,” “Too Good to Be True,” and the title track, and was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live in March.
