Bon Iver shared a new music video for the SABLE, fABLE cut “From,” and it stars Justin Vernon as a dual limo driver and divorce attorney on the go. Directed by Asher Weisberg, the grainy clip follows Vernon in a long, white, Cadillac limousine as he shuttles newlyweds around with donuts and beer, dispensing advice and smiles on the road. Watch it below.
As previously reported, “From” features additional guitar by Mk.gee and vocals by Jacob Collier. As part of the rollout for its music video, Vernon is encouraging listeners to call 1-888-FROM-BON and leave a voicemail; both Vernon and Weisberg will be responding to select messages left by fans in the days to come.
“From” is the fourth single to be released from SABLE, fABLE, Bon Iver’s fifth studio album and the follow-up to 2019’s i,i. The previously released songs “If Only I Could Wait” and “Walk Home” came out in March, while the first single “Everything Is Peaceful Love” got a John Wilson-directed video in February. The rest of the LP also features collaborations with Haim’s Danielle Haim, Dijon, Flock of Dimes, and others.
