Passion Pit have announced a short-notice residency at New York venue Deluxx Fluxx. Michael Angelakos will play Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Webster Hall basement venue for the four successive weeks starting on April 29 and 30.
The shows will feature old songs and new ones from Nine Times Your Torch Song, an album, or “demo archive,” that Angelakos is releasing through Substack. It comprises his first recordings since the 2017 Passion Pit album Tremendous Sea of Love and the 2023 reissue of Gossamer.
