BetMGM will host the Poker Championship at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas from June 29 to July 4 with a $4 million guaranteed prize pool, a $1 million increase from last year.
The no-limit hold ’em tournament carries a $3,500 buy-in and will open in ARIA’s Poker Room. The event forms part of the ARIA Poker Classic Summer Series, which runs from May 29 through July 13. A complete schedule is available at ARIA Poker on X.
“Summer in Las Vegas is where the poker world convenes, and the BetMGM Poker Championship is the centerpiece for us,” said David Mileaf, Director of Poker at BetMGM. “The partnership between BetMGM and MGM Resorts gives players access to venues and experiences that simply can’t be replicated. That’s the power of what we’ve built – a seamless road to the rail from your living room to Las Vegas.”
Satellite qualifiers feed live field
Online players in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan can enter the Championship through satellite tournaments scheduled until June 23. Two qualification paths provide entry to the $3,500 event, along with hotel accommodations and $500 cash, with buy-ins starting at $10.
- Championship qualifier route: Players begin through $10 or $25 satellites and move into finals with $100 or $250 buy-ins. Finals take place weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays, with additional Sunday events in June awarding multiple guaranteed seats.
- ARIA package route: Step satellites starting at $5 and $50 lead into package finals held several times per week, awarding a $7,200 ARIA package.
A final qualifier weekend from June 21 to June 23 offers additional chances to enter ahead of the live tournament.
MGM Resorts International connects the online qualification system with its on-property poker operations in Las Vegas through the ARIA venue.
“The BetMGM Poker Championship has quickly become a cornerstone of the summer poker calendar,” said Sean McCormack, MGM Resorts’ Executive Director of Poker Strategy & Development. “Combining BetMGM’s online reach with our ARIA guest experience, we’ve created something that truly resonates with today’s player and the overall championship atmosphere. We’re offering a $4 million guarantee and expecting another standout year as this event continues to grow.”
Live and near real-time coverage of the Championship will be available exclusively through Poker.org. Tournament results will be recorded on the Global Poker Index and The Hendon Mob.
Players competing through BetMGM Poker can earn BetMGM Rewards Points and MGM Tier Credits. Points may be redeemed for digital bonuses, MGM Rewards Points, or Marriott Bonvoy points.
