Eagles to wrap up NFC East in style
Having witnessed Dallas Cowboys stumble against Minnesota Vikings, while also earning a 31-0 home win over Las Vegas Raiders, the Eagles know a win at the Commanders on Saturday night will secure the NFC East title.
Having gone through a three-game losing streak, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts looked much more like his former self in that win over the hapless Raiders.
Washington look to have stood down their star quarterback Jayden Daniels for the remainder of the season and it’s hard to see the Commanders staying within touching distance of the Eagles at Northwest Stadium on Saturday.
Bears can prevail at Soldier Field
Winning six of their last seven games, the Bears will hope to take a step closer to the NFC North crown when they host old rivals Green Bay at Soldier Field in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The only defeat for the Bears in that seven-game run was at Lambeau Field against the Packers, with Green Bay earning a 28-21 victory.
Having come close in Wisconsin, the Bears are good value to get their revenge at Soldier Field in this one.
Vikings set to build on Cowboys scalp
While it might well be a case of too little too late for Minnesota Vikings, they are looking to finish their season on a high.
A four-game losing streak ultimately cost the Vikings in the NFC North, but back-to-back wins over Washington and Dallas in their last two outings have put smiles back on faces in Minnesota.
Taking on a New York Giants side who are currently on an eight-game losing streak and who have lost four of their six games at MetLife Stadium this season, the Vikings are more than capable of making it three wins on the bounce on Sunday.
Titans primed to push wounded Chiefs
With last year’s Super Bowl runner-ups, Kansas City Chiefs, already ruled out of the playoffs and with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes out with an ACL injury, it’s tough times for a franchise that has enjoyed so much success in recent years.
With no Mahomes this weekend at Nissan Stadium and with no chance of reaching the playoffs, head coach Andy Reid might well tinker with things on Sunday.
Tennessee have been poor this season, but against a Chiefs side missing Mahomes, the Titans could make Sunday’s game closer than many expect and the hosts are worth considering with a +3.5 handicap.
