Master actor John Lithgow discusses his one-man show Stories by Heart, which he developed over 10 years touring the country and is now presenting on Broadway. The play is dedicated to his father, who was also an actor/director, and he talks about it with Jesse Green, Co-Chief Theater Critic of The New York Times, Donna Hanover of Arts in The City and Theater Talk producer Susan Haskins.

The program premieres on CUNY TV weekly and is also one of the few independent productions on PBS where it airs weekly on Thirteen/WNET in New York. It is also syndicated nationally to over 60 urban markets across the USA. The series is jointly produced by Theater Talk Productions and CUNY TV, both not-for-profit corporations and is funded by contributions from private foundations and individuals, as well as The New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
