PIONEER CROSSROADS! FLAT LICK, KENTUCKY! HISTORY, ANCESTRY & GENEALOGY!
We visited Flat Lick, Kentucky which is the location of historic pioneer crossroads. Native Americans and early Kentucky pioneers traveled a common route through Western Virginia, through the Cumberland Gap, into the wilderness, until they reached this location where the Warriors Path splits off into the north, all the way into Ohio. Boone’s Trace, Skaggs Trace and The Wilderness Road, continue on from here until Boone’s Trace splits off on it’s own, at Hazel Patch.
