New Push for Expansion in Kentucky Gambling
UNDATED, Ky. (WKRC) — Supporters of legalizing casinos in Kentucky are mounting another campaign that promotes expanded gambling as a lucrative revenue source during lean times. The latest version will be presented as a proposed constitutional amendment that would go on the 2014 general election ballot. That can only happen if state lawmakers approve a proposal that’s ready to be introduced in the State House. Democratic representative Larry Clark of Louisville says this is probably the last chance to get it passed. Critics sound confident the proposal will fall short again.
