NC woman was on phone with her father when Kentucky tornado hit

The desperate search for survivors continues in Kentucky. More than 100 people are feared to be dead after tornadoes ripped through the Midwest and south.

Emily Parrott was on the phone with her father in Dawson Springs, Kentucky when the tornado tore through the town.

“He hung up to seek shelter, and before he hung up, I said, ‘Daddy, please call me tomorrow and let me know that you’re OK,’ and he told me he would,” Parrott said.

Thankfully, her family is alright, but a lot of them are now without homes.
