App State pushed Wake Forest to the very last second of the game, but thanks to buzzer-beating heroics from Andrew Carr, the Deacs prevailed at home, 67-66. The Mountaineers shot the lights out with a 53% shooting clip, but Wake did just enough down the stretch to take home a victory. Carr was the team’s leading scorer with 20 points on 8-14 shooting to go with 5 rebounds. Tyree Appleby had 15 points and 4 assists.
